Pumpkin stencils make it easier for you to draw different patterns on your pumpkin so that you can make those beautiful jack-o’-lanterns out of them. Hence, to avoid the hassle of making a new stencil every time, what you can do is reuse the pumpkin stencils that you had made earlier and bring out the best of the patterns on your pumpkin. To start, take a construction paper to cut a stencil out. Since, a construction paper is thicker than those regular papers; these are extremely handy and serve as an excellent guide for tracing out the design on the pumpkin. Use those construction papers that are of Halloween colors for the purpose of conveying the Halloween theme when you are tracing the designs through the stencils.
Start with drawing a pumpkin on the paper using a tilted rectangle on the top of it. Thereafter, draw sunken mouth and sunken eyes on the pumpkin that you have drawn on the paper. For bringing out spooky features on the pumpkin draw a hollow smile with triangular eyes. Then place a tracing paper on the construction paper and thereafter put the printout of the Halloween pumpkin on the top of it in case you would instead trace the image of a pumpkin to make a stencil from. For tracing the lines from the printout, use a ball point pen or a pencil. Thus, transfer the image of the pumpkin from the tracing paper upon the construction paper.
Cut the stencil out from the construction paper by cutting across the traced and the drawn lines using a pair of scissors. Thereafter, cut the mouth and eyes of the stencil with the help of a pencil for making a hole in the center of the gaps of the mouth and the eyes that need to be cut from the points that are poked.
